Northman 1300 Trawler Electric nominated for Dutch ‘Electric Boat of the Year 2025’

Natural Yachts is delighted to announce that the Northman 1300 Trawler Electric – powered by Electric Ship Facilities – has been nominated for the prestigious Dutch “Boat of the Year 2025” award in the electric boat category.

This luxury yacht will make its world debut at the Hiswa in Water Boat Show 2025 – a milestone that underlines the innovative character of the motor yacht.

All electric
The Northman 1300 Trawler Electric on display at the Hiswa In Water Boat Show features a Full Solar Roof and delivers unrivalled cruising dynamics. Equipped with a dual electric motor (2×18 kW) and a powerful 135 kWh battery pack, the yacht offers a fully redundant powertrain – ideal for cruising on open or tidal waters. With its optimised underwater hull and extensive solar energy system, the yacht has an impressive emission-free range of over 330 km, which can be extended even further in sunny conditions.

Maneuvering made easy
The Northman 1300 Electric is easy to maneuver and features proportional bow and stern thrusters. The helm station offers excellent visibility with a clear dashboard. The practical sliding door provides easy access to the side deck.

Family Trawler
With a length of 13 metres, this sustainable motor yacht is designed for up to six people. The interior includes a well-equipped kitchen, three comfortable bedrooms with double beds and two stylish bathrooms. The saloon offers generous natural light and connects to the cockpit and spacious bathing platform. The modular seating and lounge arrangement offers optimal flexibility for every situation on board.

The nomination confirms that the Northman 1300 Trawler Electric – powered by Electric Ship Facilities – is among the frontrunners in electric and emission-free boating.
